BESPOKE RESPITE / STA

For most disability funding packages you could have up to 21 days to use for a Respite/STA.

It is also important to know that in this industry, if you don’t use it you will lose it.

So, what is Respite/STA?

Respite is a term used for the regular carers of a person with a disability and is used to give them a bit of a break from the usual routine. The abbreviation STA is Short Term Accommodation. This is a term used for a person with a disability to take a short stay away from their usual routine.

Your Respite/STA can vary on your budget given participants with disabilities can require more or less care then others. At Empowering Through Mindfulness Disabiltiy Suport se want you to feel comfortable with your funding whilst getting the best out of budget.

Our goal is for you to relax and have a great time, not a good time, a GREAT time!

ETMDS provides options from budget accommodation, moderate accommodation and luxury accommodation options. All accommodation options are available to each and everyone however can require a higher budget or you can choose to add additional funds.

What we offer is bespoke experiences. This means that YOU get to chose what you want to do on your STA and where you want to go.

ETMDS is located in the beautiful Airlie Beach and we have many participants and their families travel to us. Whilst we pick up the participant at the airport, we wave goodbye to our loved ones as they go on Respite and we take you on your STA to your location of choice.

This being said, we also offer the same service anywhere in the world. This means that if you can’t travel on a plane from your location we can pick you up at your address of choice and drive to your STA location of choice.
